The Tavern - Grill & Lounge

Staff and food were good. My wife’s veggie burger and waffle fries were great. I had the lettuce wraps were tasty but I have to give one big suggestion. Please double up the lettuce so I could pick them up to eat them instead of the lettuce tearing and requiring a fork and knife. Pasta was made for me without cheese and tasted good. We would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

The Woodbury Tavern location is the 3rd one I've been too and I was not disappointed! Such lovely, friendly and professional staffing and great order times! For any occasion, I'd recommend giving The Tavern a try! You'll love it!

Phenomenal customer service. I had Sabrina as a server and she was so amazing. She went above and beyond the expectations for a server. Food was perfect amd sent my taste buds to another planet. Highly recommend The Tavern Grill in Woodbury if you're looking for a great inexpensive place to eat.

Spacious, ideal location and very vibrant and clean. Food is fantastic, but service is sublime! Organized and friendly! The service is top notch! At 6:30 on a Friday, the wait is 10 min, but I'm told could be as high as 30 minutes! Our server was Brie and she was top notch! One of the premier locations in Woodbury. I've eaten here many times and I love the menu and the service. My friends and I had a realization that Tavern Grill is the most consistent restaurant in all of Woodbury. I have a couple of "go to" items on the menu but everything I've tried has been terrific. Lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed.

The buffet was FANTASTIC! I was ravenous by the time we got there, and everything was wonderful. Juicy berries, made-to-order pancakes, the egg bake and the sausage links (I've never had more tender!)

The service was great, everyone was working quickly to get parties seated for Sunday Brunch. The food was good, nothing spectacular. The ceiling needs to be dusted. The Sunday Brunch for $17 fors not include a drink. Will be back for the Bloody Mary's.

Love this place! Outside seating is plentiful in appropriate weather. Large indoor eating area. Food is delicious and affordable. Large menu. Great bar servings. Excellent service.

Sydney provided AMAZING service and the food was delicious! We had the Crab Artichoke Dip and a build your own salad! I cant wait to come back for a build your own bloody mary!

The food there is always really good. Our visit yesterday wasn't the greatest. The cooks and server must've been having an "off" day. We both ordered soup to come before our meal which never happened and not sure we ever would've even received it. My friend's salad came quite awhile before mine did which was odd being that they were not that busy. When my salad finally came, it had an item in it that I didn't order(it was a "build your own"). We informed our server and he was going to resolve it. I then found yet another ingredient in my salad that I hadn't ordered, but server was nowhere to be found. My friend finally found a manager and told them about it. They had it remade and took it off of the bill.

Visited Tavern Grill on a Friday evening with a buddy. It was a little busy but not terrible, wait time was about 15 min. The restaurant is pretty nice, open view, laid-back atmosphere. Our server was Sean/Shawn, he was friendly and took great care of us, refilling our waters and other beverages. The food was good, the salmon was just a tad over cooked so it was a little dry but it was a nice portion. The burger was good, the dipping sauce for the fries was tasty. Over good experience. I'd go back. Clean bathrooms.

Great food for Sunday brunch. $17 for all you want off their buffet line. The ambiance is cordial with dim lighting, some tall tables and booths inside the big main room. Nice wait staff and hosts.

Today was my first time going there and let me tell you.... food was amazing! The staff were beyond my expectations and I loved how on hand they were! It is a tiny bit expensive which made me skeptical but DEFINITELY worth every price!! Highly recommend for date nights or just for lunch/dinner! I will be coming back!

Nothing to jump out of my socks about in terms of experience and food. We were a group of 12 that came. We had reservations so they were able to seat us early. This place is very, very busy over the lunch and dinner rushes and it appeared our waitress had a tough time keeping up. Wonder if they had enough staff on hand for a Saturday lunch? Our food took about 40 minutes from the time we ordered to the time it got out to the table. Again, wonder if they have enough staff?Had a build-your-own burger and a side-salad. They make it easy by filling out a form with your build-your-own order on it. It was served in a basket with a paper lining. Would have been much more convenient if served on a plate. The burger was done fine, seasoned and stocked to order. Not the best burger I've had.Overall mediocre experience. Wouldn't come here otherwise except the grandparents like this place.

This place has great tasting food with ample portions at very reasonable prices!! The atmosphere is very warm and inviting! The service is energetic and caring. I love eating here! I really love the little mints at the reception desk!!

This is one of my favorite places!! The Mojito with blueberry vodka is a must try. It is not on the menu so you have to ask for it. Yum!

Very elegant and convenient restaurant. They serve large meals and for reasonable prices. I loved the food a lot and the staff were very affable and explanatory. I recommend this place.

Girls day out and I picked this restaurant to start out based on the online menu. We will definitely be back with family members! The "build your own" options are awesome and make it fun. This is the first time in a long time we all had trouble deciding what to eat because there are many great options to choose from. Our server was awesome too! They made our day out more special!

The Build Your Own Pizza option is the best in the Metro, among comparable restaurants. The portions are good sized, with decent pricing and excellent service. I'd highly recommend it.

Great food and drink. Appetizer menu and happy hour specials are worth the visit. The room is a bit noisy by design. Service is fast and professional. I nearly always get the sliders.

Another first time experience knocked out the park! The rustic and cozy ambiance of The Tavern Grill makes for a super relaxing evening. I called ahead 30 min before arriving. So here's how it works. Parties of 8 or more can make reservations. Fewer than that, you have to call to have your name put on a list 30 min prior to your arrival. Be aware that on weekends, there may be a wait. That said, it's well worth it! Our server's name was Chelsea and she was amazing. She's very well acquainted with the menu and is very attentive. We ordered the hot Artichoke and Crab dip and it was magnificent. The rest of the food was fresh and super flavorful. I am a native of California and we have some of the best restaurants in the country. The Tavern Grill is comparable to places I frequented in L.A. It's a delightful casual dining restaurant with a good variety of dishes. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be back!

Great brunch on Sunday. Food is good quality and pretty consistent. Cheese curds are awesome. Burgers are build your own or choose from their specialty burgers. Food is over all very good.

Visited on a Saturday for dinner around 5:30, the wait was pretty short (10-15min) although when we left there were a lot of people waiting. The service & food were great! I enjoyed the baked spaghetti dish & cocktails.

Awesome place.The first time I dine there I ordered fish and chips, it was the best one you can ever have. The homemade dipping sauce for chips is to die for. I always order 1 extra bowl of that sauce😉. Love that sauce.The staff is very friendly and the quality of food is really good.

Tavern is a great spot for American food with a cozy atmosphere! Big menu but not too big (aka Cheesecake Factory). I normally get chicken littles or burger but this salmon was awesome! Service is better than all other competitors in Woodbury. PRO TIP: Join the member tavern club. It pays for itself in two trips. Cheapest beer and % off food!

Dog friendly. Awesome! Came here twice with my family and puppy. The food is amazing. I've had the Buffalo chicken wrap and chocolate cake. I tried the reuben and Caesar salad with salmon. Everything was flavored great 👍

Our sever on Sunday afternoon in the bar area, Austin was phenomenal! Although this place can get very busy, we were seated right away. Austin was attentive to our needs, very friendly, and accommodating and honest when we wanted to try different items on the menu. He assured us if we didn’t like something, he would make it right and get us something we liked. We love this location and will be back again for sure now that we are Woodbury locals!

Went with a large group of people, the waitress handled everything quite well and in a loud room her and her co-workers were very patient and understanding when it took a minute to figure out what orders went where. The waffle fries were on point! And the cheese curds reminded myself and the party of state fair cheese curds.I had the breakfast burger, medium moo. The egg seemed too over cooked(over hard not over easy) but I take that blame as I did not ask nor did I specify. Over all, damn great service, and phenomenal food.

I'd like to give a special shout-out to Mgr. Rory who was so flexible and accommodating through last minute changes with our reservation. He and the staff were very patient and friendly. What a great group with great service!

Excellent food. Lots of bearded waiters. :) You must try the bacon Brussels sprouts!! Also loved that the waiter easily identified me as keto without me even having to mention it. Great food, great service.

We love Sunday Brunch, it’s our after Church routine. Brunch is an awesome mix of standard every week offerings then a varied pasta and egg options. The pastas are my favorite, especially when they spice them up, hint hint. They also offer customer customized omelets. Thank you for being a part of our Sunday Tavern. The staff is amazing with a nice concentration of familiar faces, which speaks about the positive atmosphere. Go for brunch, you will love it.

Our waitress was very nice. She noticed I topped my bloody Mary with water since it was a bit too strong for me. She offered to have more juice added to balance the drink and it worked! The service was great and so was the food. Thank you, Tavern.

Went for brunch returning for more. A great selection of brunch items. Great service. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of thos place. Good date location as well.

Happy to support local business still during a time of crisis. I ordered waffle fries and soup. Before the food arrived I regretted getting fries as typically fries does not travel well. But when I got them they were still warm and crunchy. The sauce with them was amazing! 10/10 would order again.

Tavern Grill is amazing no matter which location you go to! The servings are huge and the food is delicious. Their pretzel appetizers have an unexpectedly delicious seasoning; the cheese curds are just like the fair; burgers are cooked perfectly and are huge; fries and fresh fruit sides are tasty large portions; pizza, soups, sandwiches are all amazing. Definitely recommend to go and sit down, chat, and have a great meal! Good to do call ahead during peak times.

Maybe a one time experience, but the service we received was far from great. I felt ignored and there weren't many people there! Food was fine, Minnesota bar-food fair. The walleye was not as amazing as I had been told. We have not been back.
